In a Heart Beat

in think that In A Heart Beat, the statement about life that  Loretta Ellsworth is trying to get to the reader is that you never know when your life might end so you have to live your life the way that you want to and not let people control everything you do.

in the book Eagan loves figure skating but her mom pushes her to the limit. she has no time for making friends or doing homework, her mom has made sure that her whole life is dedicated to figure skating. when shes in a competition she hits her head on a board and dies right there. that shows what the author is trying to tell us she never told her mom how she felt and she always talked about the future and how things would change when she grew up. she never knew that she would die at such a young age.

then there is Amelia who is waiting for someone to die and donate their heat to her. she has a bad heart and cant even walk up a flight of stairs on her own. she feels really bad, but now she gets to really live her life!

Loretta Ellsworth wants us to be grateful for what we have: a life. she wants us to know that any second it could end. and she wants use to think about our own luife and what we are going through.

Exposed

i recently finished the book Exposed and it was really good. it was about two best friends named Kate and Liz. Kate is an amazing dancer who dates every girls jock dream (Trevor), Liz is a promising photographer who dates the sweetest guy ever (Brian). Kate and Liz have been best friends since they were 6 and tell each other everything. they have a sleep over at Liz's house 1 Saturday a month, one day when they are having a sleep over they start talking about college (since they are seniors. Liz wants to go to a photo and Kate says how she doesn't want to major in dance and is thinking about quitting. Liz gets so mad because Kate is amazing and she just starts yelling at her and saying she doesn't take risks. it ends with Liz going to her room upstairs and Liz staying downstairs, and she is gone in the morning. Liz says shes sorry but Kate just avoids and ignores her.

Liz can't take it anymore and she hears from Amanda (a friend of theirs) that the reason Kate isn't talking to hr is because her and Mike (Liz's older brother) had a wild time when Liz was upstairs. Trevor finds out and says he'll forgive her, but she breaks up with them. when Liz  confronts Kate about making it a big deal, she says she got rapped by Mike. but when she goes to Mike he says that he didn't rape her they just had sex. she is stuck between the 2 people she loves the most, and doesn't know who to believe. at first she thinks Kate is making it up to hide her shame, but then she believes that her brother did it. this makes me think about the world and rape in general.

when is it considered violation? what makes you believe a person? what  drives a person towards rape? what drives a person to lie about being raped? does shame play a part in it?

Mocking Jay *spoiler alert*

So i am currently still reading Mocking Jay, and a lot has happened. some things shocked me, and some didn't. like i knew was going to end up coming back, and that something would happen between Gale and Katniss. but what really caught me off guard was when Peeta tries to choke Katniss and the way he reacted towards her. so that's basically what i'm going to talk about in this blog post.

so a group of people from district 13 went to the capitol to free Peeta, Annie, and a couple others. they were worried about the task, and were prepared for people to not come back hoe; because they were killed. but what they were faced with everyone coming home safe, and not really a fight at all. i think that when President Snow would put Peeta on T.V., he would do it on purpose because he knew Katniss was watching, and how she would react towards it. he changed Peeta from being in love with Katniss, to hating her and wanting to kill her; but Katniss didn't know this.

so i think President Snow did it on purpose because he knew that sooner or later Katniss would not be able to bear anymore, and they would try to get Peeta free; so they can be together. so then when Peeta would see her, he would try to kill her, this is just plain mean and evil, but you have to give him credit, he is much smarter than people think he is. everyone thinks he is the over-controlling president who needs to be overthrown, but he has some tricks up his sleeve, and is using all of them to try and stop the rebellion.

i am really excited and nervous to see what President Snow's next moves will be, and what Katniss and Panem will do in return.

Mocking Jay

I am currently reading Mocking jay by Suaznne Collins, and once again Katniss is facing a lot of problems. what has happened so far is:
  • District 12 has been bombed, and the few that survived are living in the harsh conditions of district 13
  • Peeta has been captured by the capitol
  • Katniss has been forced to become the "Mocking jay" of the rebellion
  • Katniss has to live under the extremely harsh rule of district 13

the only good thing that has happened so far is that Gale and Katniss's relationship has been restored to how it used to be, and there is even a little romance going on. i think that Katniss is under a lot of stress, everyone is asking for something form her. i mean she isn't super woman she is a 16 year old girl. everyone is expecting her to lead the rebellion and find a way to overthrow the capitol- which is nearly impossible. people are expecting  her to get Peeta free from the capitol- which is also impossible. and even though she is trying hard, she is constantly hearing people say how they knew they should have saved Peeta from the arena first, because he would have been a much better leader. i can't wait to see what happens next, and what choices Katniss will make.

Underage Drinking

Topic: Underage Drinking

1st:  Underage drinking usually increses between the sixth to eigth grade. Three quarters of students have consumed alcohol be the end of high school, and  more than a third have done so by high school. 50% of high school students drink on a regular baises, and 70% report the last time they drank was at a friends house. My topic underage drinking because solutiuons that they government have made aren’t affective, due to the fact that teens still drink.

2nd: the approach I would take is to get more people invlolved and to make people and the government see the affect it is having on teens. This is the common good approach because, the government would be doing what is better for the whole country.

3rd: some actions the society has taken to stop underage drinking is obviously making the drinking age 21 or aolder. This action has been right, but still hasn’t stopped underage drinking. Government has also made people show identification when buying alcohol and going into bars, this is also right. But teens and the underage have just made fake id’s to get them alcohola dn get them into bars.

Catching Fire

So far Catching Fire (the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy) by Suzanne Collins is really good. ever since Katniss and Peeta were about to kill themselves in the arena with the wild berries, there has been many problems in Panem. Everyone in all 12 districts all ways hated living under the rule and control of the capitol, but never really knew how to stand up for themselves. but when Katniss pulled the move in the arena they saw it as defying the capitol, and took it as their chance to fight back. there has been many uprisings and the president Snow personally visits Katniss; he tells her that she better sell her love to Peeta. i feel bad for Katniss having to choose between Peeta and Gale, if i were her i would be really confused on what to do.
Gale had been Katniss's best friend and hunting buddy ever since her father died in the mining accident, and she had to take on all the responsibilities in the house (at age 12). it was never really like put out there that Katniss and Gale were best friends, but they just clicked. they were the best hunters and would always bring back the best things to trade at the hob or to the mayor; even though it was illegal to hunt outside of the confines of district 12, no one ever told on them. Gale obviously loves Katniss, but she just doesn't see it. she never really saw Gale in that way; but before the games started, she started to think of him more and more.
when Katniss's dad passed away she would always go out in the streets and look through the garbage cans to see if there was food. Peeta's dad is the baker, so he worked in  the bakery. one day when she was on the brink of starvation, Peeta through her a loaf of bread; he saved her life. she never talked to him after that day, she always wanted to thank him for the bread; but she didn't know how to bring herself to say it. when he is chosen as a tribute for the games, he admits his love for Katniss and he has loved her ever since he saw her when they were 5; and he wants to be with her forever.

Gale and Peeta both love Katniss and want her to be with him, she obviously can't be with both; so she has to choose one. this is a really hard decision, i would feel so stressed if i was in her place; because, i feel like of she chooses Peeta she'll lose Gale, and if she chooses Gale she'll lose Peeta. if i was Katniss i think i would choose Gale because, even though Peeta threw her that loaf and saved her life at that moment; if it wasn't for Gale, her and her whole family would have starved. Gale taught her how to hunt and set traps, he also helped her family, and more than anything; he was her best friend and always had her back. Peeta gave her that loaf of bread and was absent from her life until the games, for all she knows he could have hate her guts. i'm just saying that Gale has done a lot more for Katniss then Peeta has.
but you never know, she could choose Peeta. im just stating my opinion.

Its not Summer Without You *SPOILER ALERT*

i recently finished reading the book It's Not Summer Without you by Jenny Han. this book is about two best friends Laurel and Susannah, they grow up to have their own children. Laurel has a daughter and son: Belly and Steven. Susannah had two boys: Conrad and Jeremiah. they are all best friends, but Belly is closer to the boys than her brother Steven. they live like 1 hour away from each other but each summer they go to their beach house at cousin's beach and stay there the whole summer. one year everything changed, Belly had matured into a young adult and both Jeremiah and Conrad were in love with her. however she was in  love with Conrad, and when she turned 16 they started going out.Susannah got cancer and died the following year. after that things changed Conrad kept to himself and didn't want to see anyone. so Belly was left heart broken and her mom Laurel just stopped caring about life.

Conrad and Jeremiah's dad tries to put the beach house up for sale, Jeremiah asks Belly for her help because; Conrad is going out of control. but Conrad doesn't listen and he sends her mixed emotions. in the end Laurel saves the beach house and Belly falls for Jeremiah. even though Conrad still loves her he doesn't want anything to do with her and she is tired of getting thrown around and used by him.

there are obvious hard things happening in the text like dealing with Susannah's death but deep down i think that there are more hard things happening:

Conrad hates his father because most of his childhood he wasn't there. his mother loved him and he left her when she needed him most, when she was dying. he came back a month before she dies but now he wants to sell the house that has her all over it; and start over and move on like nothing happened. he is also madly in love with Belly but just doesn't know how to show it. he gets mad very easily and he knows how his brother is also in love with her.

Belly has always loved Susannah,  even more than her own mother; as a child she would always wish that Susannah could be her mother. when Conrad suddenly ends things with her and Susannah dies, its like her world comes crashing down. her heart was broken by Conrad and it got shattered by the death. her best friends doesn't understand what she is going through and tells her to just get over it. she loves cousin's beach and wishes she could live there, she has been looking forward to going there; especially since its the last summer before college. but now she can't even go there either.

this book was really good!! i recommend it to people who like social issues, realistic fiction, and emotional books. :)

Tangled *SPOILER ALERT*

i am currently reading Tangled by Carolyn Mackler, it is really good book. it is about four people Jena, Skye, Dakota, and Owen; they all go to a place called Paradise for spring vacation (Skye and Jena go together because their moms are best friends, but they don't really talk). they all end up meeting and their lives end up becoming "tangled" together and their lives will change forever. the book is split into 4 parts (each part from a different persons view), and i  have read Jena's part so far.

Jena is 16 and lives in Topeka, New York with her mom Janet. she is a typical 16 year old girl: she is madly in love with a boy named Samir who barely even knows tat she exists, she has 2 best friends Ellie and Leora, she is addicted to being online and blogging . except shes different because she loves collecting quotes and random things that just speak to her and rights them in her "everything book" she loves romances, but thinks it will never really happen to her. her family is middle class but Luce (her moms bff and Skye's mom) is rich, so she decides to treat them to a trip to Paradise. her and Skye are forced to be together because of there mom , but they never really talk. Jena feels that Skye is to cool for her and starts blabbing random stuff when she is with her.

Skye is 16 and lives with her rich mom Luce. she is and up- and-coming actress and model, she goes the the most expensive private school and drives the coolest car. she basically has the life every girl wishes they had- or at least Jena wishes she had. she has a super hot boyfriend for 2 years but they suddenly break-up and she really changes. she doesn't hang out anymore and she is home schooled now, and i feel like she doesn't want to act.

Owen and Dakota are brother; Owen is 16 and Dakota is 18. Dakota is super hot and Owen is a geek. i feel like Owen is living under the shadow of his brother. i haven't really learned about them yet, but i feel like they are hiding things- especially Dakota and that their life is complicated. like people say don't judge a book by its cover.

can't wait to see what happens!!

Ruthless *SPOILER ALERT*

i am currently reading Ruthless which is the tenth book in the Pretty Little Liars series and it is really good.  there are 4 main characters Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily. they are all going through really hard times right now and never really get a break. if i were one of them i don't know how i would survive. When the girls went on vacation to Jamaica, they met a girl named Tabitha; she reminded them exactly of Ali, who supposedly died in the fire. but the girl has burn marks all over her and says things to them that only Ali knows, they are convinced she is Ali, but she says she is Tabitha Clark from New Jersey. one night when she meets up with the girls on a cliff they feel threatened and end up pushing her off by accident. 1 year later her body washes up to shore and autopsy confirms that the girl is actually Tabitha.

Hanna's dad is running for mayor and she is really involved in his campaign, she makes speeches and talks to kids and they really connect with her. for the first time in a while she finally feels that her dad loves her and he is not choosing Kate (his step-daughter) over her. but when she gets lured in by Patrick who poses as a photographer, he takes scandalous pictures of her and threatens to post them online (and ruin her dad's campaign!!) if she doesn't give him $10,000. so she has no choice but to steal the money from her dad. her dad figures out someone stole $ but she frames Jeremiah (her dads manager) for it, and gets him fired. A threatens to tell her dad what really happened  and about what they did to Tabitha.

Emily got pregnant over the summer and had to quit swimming, she went and lived with hr sister so her parents wouldn't find out. but in September she finds out that even if she does start swimming she can't get the scholarship she has been working for her entire life, which was her only way to go to college. she meets Chloe and they automatically click and become besties, and Chloe's dad gets Emily a swimming scholarship. everything seems amazing until Chloe's dad tries to rape Emily and Chloe blames it all on Emily, which ends their friendship.

Spencer's mom is engaged, and she gets really close with hr step-brother Zach. he tells her his biggest secret- that he thinks he is gay but he dad is homophobic. her and Zach kiss and one night fall asleep together, but just ad friends. his dad comes in in the morning and starts cursing out Zach and hitting him and when he won't stop or believe them Spencer says hes gay. he sends Zach to military school the next day, hes supposed to to Harvard, and Zach hates  her. she feels all alone at home and she finds out that her acceptance to Princeton because of a mix-up.

Aria boyfriend Noel gets a exchange student from Finland named Klaudia, she is beautiful and has blond hair which Noel is into and Aria doesn't have). she tries to steal Noel from Aria and says she and Noel are going to have sex and she is not good enough to have Noel. Noel doesn't believe Aria at all and says she is just jealous. when they all go skiing Aria gets so made that she pushes Klaudia and she breaks her arm and leg, Klaudia doesn't tell on her. but Noel becomes her dog who is with her 24/7, Noel breaks up with her the next week.

I can't wait to see what happens next!!

Twisted

I recently started reading the book Twisted, which is ninth book in the Pretty Little Liars series. it is pretty good right now, but its just sort of getting people up to speed about what has happened in the past year.

so in the end of the last book the girls found out who A was, it was Ali. and she tries to kill them in a fire, but they escaped and she was trapped in the house. when fireman and cops searched the rubble and investigated, they found no sign what-so-ever of bones. but they pronounced Ali dead anyway because, they said that it was impossible that she could have gotten out. at first the girls were still paranoid and worried but the got over it, except Emily didn't. she was always more attached to Ali than any of the other girls and she knew what Ali was capable with, so she still thought Ali was somehow alive; but she just pushed it to the back of her mind.

after the whole incident, the girls became super close! even closer than they were back in the seventh grade. Spencer says that they need a vacation and that they should go to Jamaica. so Aria, her boyfriend Noel. Spencer, Emily, Hanna and, her boyfriend mike (aka Aria's brother) all went. they were in a club and then Emily spotted a girl in a yellow dress that looked super familiar. when she looked closer she realized the girl had the unforgettable heart shaped face, crystal blue eyes and, blond hair; and the girl was also covered in burn marks and scars.she immediately knew that it was Ali, she told the other girls and they were shocked. something happened that night that is known as a big "incident: that we still don't know about, but whatever it is made the girls end their friendship and stop talking.

what is happening in each girls life right know is:\

Spencer got an early accepted to Princeton  and her mom is dating a really rich guy. he has a daughter and son (Zach). when they go out to dinner it is just him and his daughter and he says Zach is at a class and will be there shortly. him and his daughter are supper snobby and hate Spencer, but love Melissa. when Spencer is waiting on line for the bathroom, some guy starts talking to her; and she finds out his name is Zach.

nothing has really happened to Aria she is just with Noel.

Hanna's dad is running for mayor and he really wants her to be part of nothing. she is sad and feels really sad but this guy named Patrick says she has potential to be a model and gives her his card. she tells Mike but he doesn't want her to do it because he feels like Patrick wants her.

Emily quiet swimming so now she has no way to get a scholarship. so she has to work and her parents really don't like her.

i can't wait to see what happens next!!

Romeo and Juliet

I am up to act 3 scene 1 in Romeo and Juliet, and i must admit its actually really good. i thought that it was just going to be some old sappy romance but, it actually has a lot of meaning to it and a lot of action and drama. there is a lot of meaning and passion in it and i'm actually glad that we are reading this.

what has happened so far is that Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet and their family's are enemies. the Capulet's throw a party and Benvolio and Romeo go, but the reason Romeo goes is so that he can see Rosaline the girl that he "loves" and that broke his heart. that is were him and Juliet meet and they immediately fall in love, but then they find out each others last names. but that doesn't stop them from being together. when the party is over Romeo sneaks to Juliet's balcony, which is known as the famous balcony scene. the following day Romeo sends Juliet a request to marry him, and she accepts and they get married.

that's all i have read so far. even though we know from the prologue that Romeo and Juliet are going to end up dead, we still read it and it is really good. and i think we kind of forget that they are going to end up dying, and get caught up in their romance. i think that the most interesting person out f all the characters is Juliet. she started off as an innocent  and obedient daughter of a rich family. she was basically a parents dream daughter. and she made the biggest turn around and change ever. people are always saying to be yourself and not change for anyone, and in a way i feel like she did change to be with Romeo. she changed how she acted and her attitude towards her family.

i'm excited to see what happens next!

Aces Up

i am currently reading the book Aces Up by Lauren Barnholdt. it is a really good and interesting book. what happens is that Shannon's dad loses his job. their family starts struggling when their dad cannot find a job. her mom's job is not enough to hold up a family. so slowly things start to fall apart, her older sister Robyn got accepted and was supposed to be attending Uconn but she has to attend the community college, then her dads BMW gets taken away. Shannon has been accepted early to Wellesley college but she doesn't see how her parents can afford it, she really wants to go there; she also may get scholarships but even that won't be enough. so she decides to take matters into her own hands and get a job so that by the time school rolls around she'll have enough money. most jobs pay really cheap so she decides to fake the age 21 (shes turning 18!) and get a job at the casino, which is $20 an hour plus tips.

when she starts working there she gets a message saying to go to a hotel room and that it is really important. when she goes she meets Cole who is 18 and plays poker (even though you have to be 21) and has his own secret poker team called Aces Up. what they do is pretend they don't know each other when they play so when one of them wins big money it is split among them. he tries to encourage Shannon to join but she says no. but when things get worse at her house and shes not make enough money at work she decides to give it a chance. she wins $200 he first night and continues to play, she gets $2,000 in a week. so she decides to just do it until she has enough money for college and she'll quit Aces Up and her job.

she starts to get hooked on to playing poker and plays every night, shes done at 5 a.m. and goes home to change and head to school, and her grades start to fall; by a lot!! then Cole asks her to play at the poker tournament which has a $13,000,000 prize!! she immediately says yes, he then tells her that everyone from Aces Up is going to be playing and they are going to cheat to guarantee one of them wins and then split the $, he says she'll get $50,000; that's a lot less than $13,000,000. and her parents find out and say she has to quit and is grounded.

i know that Shannon was tempted but i don't think that she should have ever joined Aces Up. i mean  one of the reasons she said no in the first place is because she knew that she could get addicted, just like Cole. and she is not herself anymore, its like she is living 2 lives. i think she should just talk to her parents and they could figure something out. she also starts hooking up and eventually going out with Cole, which i think is a big mistake. i feel like hes using her and fooling her into thinking he really likes her to make sure she doesn't leave Aces Up. everyone is worried about her: her sister, mom, dad, teachers, and max. who used to be her best friend. she feels alone but, she doesn't realize how many people she has around her that care about her.

i can;t wait to see what happens next!!

Never Have I Ever *SPOILER ALERT*

i recently finished reading the book Never Have I Ever by Sara Shepard, which is the second book in the Lying Game series. its a really good book and series. what has happened is that there are 2 twins Sutton and Emma but they got separated when they born because Sutton was put up for adoption. when Emma was 7 she also got put up for adoption, but she just traveled from home to home and was unloved. Sutton got the perfect life: she lived in a mansion. she was rich, got everything she wanted, was popular, and had friends that looked up at her.

when Emma stumbles on a video with Sutton in it, she is determined to find her so maybe she'll have some where to live and a sister who loves her. she contacts her through face book ad Sutton writes her back saying to meet her. when she goes she is dragged to a party by Sutton's friends who think that Emma is Sutton, Sutton's parents also think that Emma is Sutton. she starts to get notes saying that if she doesn't play along then she will be next. she finds out that Sutton was actually killed and the killer is making her play along as Sutton or else they will kill her also.

she is trying to find out who killed Sutton, but ever time she gets a lead something happens to prove that persons innocence. Thayer is a boy who was madly in love with Sutton for his whole life and who Sutton liked but, she turned him down and called him a loser. he runs away and no one knows were he is. but tat the end of the book he climbs in through Sutton's window and just stares at Emma. she is convinced that he was Sutton's killer and so is Sutton's ghost.

i can see were she is getting this from: Sutton was known to be violent sometimes and he was madly in love with Sutton. but i don't know if he can get so mad that he would kill her. i mean that's a little extreme, i understand fighting or getting mad. but taking away someone's life, that's crazy! i just don't think that he has that in him.

i'm excited and kind of nervous to find out who killed Sutton and what will happen next!

Breathless: Critical Thinking Question #1 *spolier alert*

the book Breathless by Lauren McDaniel is about a boy named Travis. he is the best diver in the state and is on his way to becoming the best in the country. when him and his sister (Emily), best friend (Travis), and girl friend (Darla) go on a boat ride; he attempts a dive that goes wrong and ends up in the hospital. they find out he has bone cancer and has to cut of his right leg. he can't dive and he is home schooled. he hates his life and doesn't see the point of living. so he wants to commit suicide by drowning in the water, which is were he wants to be. he lets Travis in on it but soon Darla and Emily find out. they don't want him to but he doesn't care, in the end he ends up in the hospital because of seizures a day before he plans to commit suicide. the cancer spread all around and he has to cut of his other leg and arm. the next day he is dead, everyone thinks its because of cancer but someone (either Travis, Darla, or Emily) actually killed him with insulin, because he mentioned it; and he really didn't have any more fight in him, and he was suffering. we never find out though who did it.

there are obvious hard things happening in the book, like Travis having cancer and his family dealing with it. but there are other things deep down that every character is going through that are also really hard.

Darla's father hits her and her mom and he doesn't care about them at all; especially Darla. he insults her and tells her that there is no point for her in this world. Travis is the only person who she is actually happy with and who really likes her for who she is, so when he has cancer she stays with him all the time to make sure he is never sad. when he tells her he wants to commit suicide she is really broken, she says she loves him and doesn't want him to die. bit part of reason i think is because, is hes gone she will be forced to be home more and she has no one else who cares about her.

Emily has always looked up to her brother. he has been her role model all through her life; but she has also lived in his shadow all through her life. she has never been called Emily but instead "Travis's sister" or "the amazing diver's sis". she actually likes this and she doesn't mind. if Travis died she would have to deal with people saying things like "the boy who had bone caner's sis" and would have to break away from her shadow. but she would also not have a role model or anyone to look up to anymore.

Travis lives in a trailer home with his mom, she doesn't have a job and she messes around with guys for money and she is an alcoholic. he has to work to pay for food, rent, electricity, water, and gas for his car (hes only 17!). he has always been staying at Travis's house since 3rd grade, anytime his mom was home with a guy or he couldn't take things anymore; Travis would let him in to stay over, feed him, buy him things, and they were best friends. also Travis kapt all his secrets about his family. If Travis dies then he would really be one his own and he would have no one to tell his problems to. he would no on to go to or to lean on when times are tough.

Heartless:Critical Thinking Question #3

i  recently finished reading Heartless which is the seventh book in the Pretty Little Liars series. i think that this critical thinking question is a really good one for this book because a lot of different things have happened and everyone has a different opinion about if justice was really served in this text.

even though Billy Ford was arrested and charged with Alison's and Jenna's murder, i still do not think that justice was served in the text. the reason that i think this is because throughout the book the girls were harassed by a person named A (aka Mona and Billy) and A basically ruined there lives. A told their deepest secrets and made them admit their secrets, and this has affected their lives forever. there is no way that they can changed what has happened. Spencer's whole family got torn apart and nobody in her family even acknowledges her anymore. Aria's family also got torn apart and she is forced to live with her dad and his student soon-to-be wife and mother who he had an affair with. Hanna has to live with her dad his wife-to-be and mean step-daighter who has tried to ruin her life and has turned her dad against her.

what i think has to happen for justice to be served is that things would have to somehow go back in time to the beginning of the year when Alison's body is found and somehow find out that it was Bully Ford. if this would have happened then there would have been no A and no harassing and each girl would still have their perfect and fun lives. they wouldn't have to go through all the torture they went through: getting made fun of by the press, rejected from family, seeing a lot of people die.

i think that A is the person that blocks justice because,  A would always send the girl notes giving them false clues about the killer and the girls would go and tell the police. so then it would steer them even more of track from finding the real killer, which made them get harassed even more. if there was no A then the police would have found out the killer a while back and things would go on. they wouldn't have to see innocent people die like Jenna, Toby, and Ian.

I think that if this were happening in the real world then there would be justice because i think that the police would find out in a little while who A was and they wouldn't let this drag out this much. and i think in the real world the killer would have been found even earlier around the tome when Alison dies which was 3 years ago. i mean the body was in her backyard how do you not search good enough to find something that was in the girls house?!?! then there would be no A and things would have been better. but then the books wouldn't be good a all!

Killer *Spoiler Alert*

i just finished reading Killer which is the sixth book in the Pretty Little Liars series. in this book i feel like everything changed and everything sort of came out! i mean everything that we thought we knew about Alison's "killer" is not right at all.

Officer Wilden was suspicious to me since the beginning of the  book and i expected that he was part of something. i mean when the girls found Ian's body in the woods he waited a whole 2 hours until he went and searched, who would do that? he was also doubting the girls and always kind of stalking them.

he is doubting that the girls saw Ali after the fire and now most of the girls are starting to doubt themselves also, except Emily! they girls confronted him about how they found out that him and Jason (Alison's older brother) were behind the whole thing but h denied everything. he was playing dumb. this is actually the first person that i actually truly believe was behind the whole thing.

as time goes on i think that the girls are going through more and more hard things, they just don't get a break!

Aria's moms new boyfriend was actually supposed to be Aria's. he has made many moves on her and he says that if she tells her mom there will be consequences, and that she should just leave. wanting to make her mom happy for once she moves back in her dad and his pregnant soon-to-be wife. she hates is there and is avoiding her mom.

Emily was actually having a good life. her parents accepted her as she was, she was getting good grades, the swim season was good, and she fell in love with Isaac. but they had a fight and she won't forgive him and she is really getting affected by the whole Alison problem.

Hanna's mom left her for a job in a different country, so her dad moves into her house with his wife Isabelle and step-daughter Kate. her and Kate hate each other and are always fighting and bickering and Kate is trying to steal all her popularity in school. and her dad always takes Kate side and doesn't believe a word she says.

Spencer is having the worst problems. her sister moved out and her parents completely hate her! they won't talk to her and they won't eat with her and they having taken everything away from her. but its all her mom her dad is trying to be nice but her mom says she deserves it. she thinks shes adopted and gets scammed by a women in NY claiming shes her mom and she wipes her bank account clean which had more than 10,000,000 in it! the only person she had was Andrew ad he won't even talk to her now.

i can't wait to see what happens next!!

Blog Review

the post that i chose to do a review on was Anouk's post on Harry Potter. the reason that i chose the post was because, i like how it was crafted and how she connected it to the world. it was really good how she took a a scene from the book and turned it into her end statement which was:  So like if you just let a problem sit there in the air, just like all your other problems the will start to pile up and  become overwhelming.  i agree with what she said that we shouldn't put problems off we should solve them the right way the first time. it is something that everyone does and its awesome how she got this from a garden gnome.

the reason i read this post was because, i found it engaging because, she didn't stall on little simple things. she went straight to the big idea and what she really wanted to say. her post also wasn't extremely short or long, it was a really nice length. something i could take from her and put into my blog is not add in unnecessary things and to not stall or drag things out to much. i could also relate to it because i stall sometimes and i put things off.

i never read the Harry Potter series because i'm not into fantasy or books with mythical things in it. but her post made the books seem really interesting and made me want to read them.
